An Evening in Kinsale 6/23

After our adventures in Blarney & Cork, we decided to relax a little at our B&B, and then headed out for some pub hopping at the "famous" pubs in town before we hit our dinner reservation at Max's Wine Bar.

Our first stop was the Bulman Pub, just on the outskirts of Kinsale, with a beautiful view of the Kinsale harbour.

Next we were off to The Spaniard, a very close quarters but fun little pub that was packed with people and surrounded by cars parked in lines up the street!

And we wrapped up there and headed for dinner at Max's Wine Bar.  The dinner was absolutely excellent - definitely as good as everyone raved it would be!  We ordered the 3 types of oysters for appetizers, Eric and dad ordered the Lamb, I ordered the Seafood Hot Pot, and Dennis ordered the Hake.

We ordered one of each of the desserts (minus the cheese - we were getting full!)

And as we headed back to our car, we were treated to an amazingly beautiful sunset over Kinsale!  Oddly enough when we got back to our B&B the sun seemed to be setting in the Northwest, not at all what we were used to!  But then again, Im typing this at 9:30pm, and it looks like 7pm outside!
